OH ITS CONFIRMED at 4:30 PM

ohhh its confirmed.new eye candy. today was so fun we had this debate-like discussion in class. men VS women. on gender stereotypes. and i was the scribe. so we had like ten minutes to write words describing the opposite gender.the girls wrote things like egoistic, commitment phobics and a whole lot more.so then the guys wrote materialistic, cry babies, act cute, and then some guy wrote this,"don't diss the girls so much,we're going to marry them anyway." HAHAHA and then ian wrote lousy drivers and then chaos broke out cause that is so not true. then mrs quah said that she was utterly disappointed with the guys.before the guys started writing stuff on the board mrs quah hoped that they would not write a single thing.cause women look for gentlemen. not guys who insult the opposite gender with the words, bitch and bimbos. oh,hell, are they gonna stay single for the rest of their lives,or what. here's a tip to the guys reading. be a gentleman. (:

here's a piece that we recieved in class.

It's high time that men ceased to regard women as second class citizens.

This is supposed to be an enlightened age,but you wouldn't think so if you heard what the average man thinks of the average woman.Women won their independence years ago. After a long, bitter struggle, they now enjoy the same educational opportunities as men in most parts of the world. They have proved repeatedly that they are equal and often superior to men in almost every field. The hard-fought battlefor recognition has been won,but it is by no means over.It is men,not women who still carry on the sex war because their attitude remains basically hostile.Even in the most progressive society, women continue to be regarded as second class citizens. To hear some men talk, you'd think that women belonged to a different species.

On the surface, the comments made by men about women's abilities seem light-hearted. The same tired jokes about women drivers are repeated day in,day out. This apparent light-heartedness does not conceal the real contempt that men feel for women. However, much men sneer at women, their claims to superiority are not borne out of statistics.Let's consider the matter of driving, for instance. We all know that women cause far fewer accidents than men. They are too conscientious and responsible to drive like maniacs. But this is a minor quibble.Women have succeeded in any job you care to name.As politicians,soldiers,doctors,factory-hands,university professors, farmers, company directors,lawyers,bus-conductors,scientists and presidents of countries, they have often put men to shame. And we must remember that they frequently succeed brilliantly in all these fields,in addition to bearing and rearing children.Yet men go on maintaining the fiction that there are many jobs women can't do. Top level political negotiations between countries, business, and banking re almost entirely controlled by men,who jealously guard their so-called "rights". Even in otherwise enlightened places like Switzerland, women haven't even been given the vote. This situation is preposterous. The arguments that men put forward to excuse women from all these fields are all too familiar.Women.they say,are unreliable and irrational. They depend too little on cool reasoning and too much on intuition and instinct to arrive at decisions. They are not even capable of thinking clearly. Yet when women prove their abilities, men refuse to acknowledge them and give them their due.So much for a man's ability to think clearly!

The truth is that men cling to their supremacy because of their basic inferiority complex. They shun rela competition. They know in their hearts that women are superior and they are afraid of being beaten at their own game. One of the most important tasks in the world is to achieve world peace between the nations. You can be sure that if women were allowed to sit round the conference table they would succeed brilliantly,as they always do,where men have failed for centuries. Some things are too important to be left to men!

welcome to sec three life at 7:23 PM

hi everyone, sorry for not keeping this blog alive, but thats cause' i barely even found time to rest, let alone blog.anyway.

okay so this week has been rough with piles of homework and everytime we moan about the number of homework we're recieved, the teachers say the same thing.

welcome to sec three life.

pffft. i don't want any of this "sec three" life.
sure,my class is fun,but i feel so pressured right now i could hurl my alarm clock at the wall.

okay so xiyun is gone,to australia,i think its brisbane, but she was crying the day before she left.it just makes me wonder how i would feel if i were to up and leave just like that and if anyone would miss me or even think about me.
well. a better life awaits in canada,i suppose. and then i wondered who would actually send me off to the airport.and cry when i left.

oh god this is getting emotional.haha. anyway.on a happier note,i'll be visiting toronto in june to check out the place and see if i can get into a school there and see if i can actually live there.adapt to life's changes. :)

i have found a new eye candy, and possibly-thats a veryyyy small possibility- that i may have a crush on him.

oh no what happened to my dont believe in love anymore shit?

HELLO, ITS A BRIGHT NEW DAY at 1:31 PM

hello everyone! i didn't go to school today so my nice and very kind mommy allowed me to stay at home to rest and sleep.here's a little update about my week, there was a few embarrassing situations when i wished that the ground will just open up and swallow me whole so that i wouldn't have to face everyone but other than that its been fine. (: yesterday it was so fun during history, cause we studied governance and how to differentiate good governments and lousy governments.then we learnt about the opposition parties and SDP.then we learnt about people like chiam see tong, ling howe doong, whatshisname,JBJ,chee soon juan and other men.it was funny cause some of them did really silly things like going on hunger strikes and yelling DONT TALK COCK in parliament. haha.but i also found it pretty propaganda and all. anyway.i slept in chem class cause it was too damn boring but during literature we had a debate and role play! :D the book we were doing for lit had vulgarities so my lit teacher changed the f word to "cluck" and it was hilarious when timothy acted it out as Christopher with mrs quah as the furious Mrs Shears, and yi hern as the Narrator.
then mrs quah shouted,"what the cluck have you done to my dog??"
"put the clucking dog down right now!"

HAHAHAHA.
i think she is so cute.

and then we had homework. gahh.

NEGLECTED BLOG at 3:32 PM

hey everyone,here's another post.
uhm i think this blog will probably be neglected but i'll try to update it weekly.

okay,so this week was good and bad.my class is really quiet compared to last year, but i suppose thats a good thing.i've been making friends with my new classmates-eh actually only the girls i haven't started talking to the guys yet-but most of the girls are pretty nice :) my class is...i don't know how to describe it,but its sort of like we're rather united, but there are cliques too. wait does that make sense? okay i'll have another go at it.i guess what i'm trying to say is that the cliques in my class aren't all that exclusive and tight, which is great, but whether or not that will change in the course of this year,i don't know.its pretty competitive cause there're alot of hardworking and intelligent people in my class, and even though i've only been to school for like three days, the pressure's on,and there's no doubt about it.

i'm usually sitting right at the front except for physics and history class where i'm sitting somewhere at the back.but history class is fun cause charmaine and delia is sitting in front of me and felicia and we talk nonsense and fool around.like when we were sitting for the diagnostic test there was this question on where the tamil and the sinhalese people fought or went against each other or something so delia decided to put sri lanka cause she loves sri lankan crabs.she says they're delicious. haha and turned out,she got it right! hahaha. and Ms Ng isn't as scary as i thought she would be.she's hilarious.
i've been assigned a math,e math and literature homework,it tough,what'm i s'pposed to do? D:

ahh, God,help me.
